Enhancing India-ASEAN Connectivity
Over the past 20 years, at least three factors have inhibited the creation of stronger links between South and Southeast Asia – Myanmar's isolation, the mistrust between India and its neighbors, and poor region-wide infrastructures. In this video, a CSIS-sponsored panel of experts highlights the current opportunities India has to boost its trade with Southeast Asia, not only as a result of Myanmar opening itself up to the outside world, but also because of New Delhi’s improved relations with Bangladesh.
