America in the 21st Century: A View from Asia
Kishor Mahbubani discusses how “Asia” would like to see the United States conduct itself on the world stage and whether it will remain the most innovative and influential nation in the world. In exploring this broader theme, Mahbubani also reviews contemporary Asian perceptions of America and its presence in their region. He then closes his remarks by making a few recommendations on what he thinks America could be doing better in Asia, particularly in terms of enhancing its presence, its profile and its usefulness.
