CFR Critical Policy Choices
The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is a nonpartisan center for scholars dedicated to producing and disseminating ideas so that policymakers, journalists, students, and interested citizens can better understand the world and the foreign policy choices facing the US and other governments. CFR Critical Policy Choices are undertaken when a subject of critical importance divides policymakers, experts, and the broader public. They aim to foster debate on these critical international issues by laying out arguments for each of the main policy alternatives in the form of policy memos or hypothetic presidential speeches.
