US-Afghan Security Agreement: Competing Notions of Sovereignty? (Part I)
This article analyzes the challenges facing and potential impact of the US-Afghan Bilateral Security Agreement in 2012. The author offers a brief examination of the most prominent challenges facing the Bilateral Security Agreement negotiations, namely jurisdiction of US forces in Afghanistan, custody of detainees, and Afghan Airspace.
