Consequences of Taliban Office in Qatar
This paper analyzes the Taliban's diplomatic efforts to join the political arena in Afghanistan. Following the opening of a liaison office for the Taliban in Doha, Qatar, the author examines the effect this has had on diplomatic relations, as well as the apparent moderating outcome it has had on the Taliban’s ideological position.
