Renewing America: The Case for Allowing US Crude Oil Exports
This brief argues that allowing US companies to export crude oil would help solve the widening gap between the types of oil that US fields produce and the types that US refiners need. Removing all proscriptions on crude oil exports, the author argues, would strengthen the US economy and promote the efficient development of the country’s energy sector.
