A Row to Hoe: The Gender Impact of Trade Liberalization on our Food System, Agricultural Markets and Women's Human Rights
This paper examines trends in food and agriculture from a gender perspective. The author looks at how trade and investment have affected food security, agricultural development and gender issues. The paper analyzes how women have been affected by changes in the global food system as well as in local food production and states that they must become more involved in agricultural policy on an international scale.
