A "United States of Africa" by 2015?
This paper considers the proposal to turn the African Union (AU) into a United States of Africa, which was the main item discussed at the AU Summit in Accra in July 2007. The authors pose critical questions about the nature and content of the debate itself and about the proposal for a United States of Africa.
