Embracing Brazil: Transatlantic Cooperation to Confront Global Challenges
This memo talks about the Atlantic Community members' relationship with Brazil. The authors argue that initiatives exist to make Brazil a transatlantic partner, but they are not being used to their full potential. They believe the US and Europe need to build on these measures and acknowledge Brazil as a valuable ally. A reason for this is because it could help them deal with issues such as development, climate change, energy policy and international trade.
