Outlook for Electricity and Renewable Energy in Southern and Eastern Mediterranean Countries
This report elaborates on the MEDPRO Energy Reference Scenario for electricity demand and power generation in the southern and eastern part of the Mediterranean (MED-11 countries), which extends up to the year 2030. More specifically, the report analyzes 1) the future utility of renewable energy in MED-11 countries, 2) recent efforts to improve the security of regional electrical grids, to include their integration, and 3) attempted reductions in CO2 emissions.
