It presents a literature review of the transmission channels between energy prices and growth and distribution in developing countries, employs a Computable General Equilibrium model to identify the most vulnerable countries, and presents case studies from Nigeria, Malawi and Ghana to illustrate policy responses to oil shocks in more detail.
