Central Asia-Caucasus Analyst Vol 13, No 20
This issue of the Central Asia-Caucasus Analyst includes analytical articles and field reports on security issues facing the Central Asia-Caucasus region in November 2011. The analytical articles examine the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in Azerbaijan; the presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan; plans for a railroad link between Scandinavia, the South Caucasus, Central Asia and China; and post-election unrest in Armenia. In addition, shorter field reports provide accounts of the imprisonment of journalists in Tajikistan, Azerbaijan's acquisition of a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council, Kazakhstan’s response to Putin's call for a Eurasian Union, and the return of former President Robert Kocharyan to the Armenian political arena.
