Popular Culture and Regional Identity in East Asia
Evidence from the Asia Student Survey 2008
This working paper explores the possible impact cultural exchanges have on creating a collective East Asian identity. It cites, for example, a statistically-based Asia Student Survey confirms that young people are indeed starting to identify themselves in regional rather than national terms.
