Antimafia: The Italian Experience in Fighting Organised Crime
This brief examines a number of measure and policies that are implemented as a direct response to the threat of organized crime in Italy. The author argues that these new measures were intended to expand the scope and the number of law enforcement and judicial instruments and were an attempt to complement the conventional approaches, which were no longer effective in light of the persisting mafia influence against public institutions.
