Defining Cyber Security
This report summarizes the discussions on the question of "Defining Cyber Security" at the inaugural launch of SDA’s Cyber Security Initiative. The need for effective information-sharing, the role of the software industry, the multidimensional approach to cyber security and the balance between resilience and defense were just some of the issues addressed. The debate opened a new SDA series that seeks to make sense of the confusion over cyber security and cyber crime, and examines the cooperation mechanisms both in place and urgently needed.
