The Case for a Comprehensive, Multilateral and Inclusive Approach
Events in the Middle East and North Africa risk the EU taking its eye off the ball as regards its eastern neighbourhood, particularly the South Caucasus region. The short but bloody Georgia-Russia War of August 2008 was an example of how badly things in the region can flare up, and how they can impact on the rest of Europe.
