Continuity and Changes: A Comparative Study on China’s New Grand Strategy
This chapter examines China's new grand strategy by comparing it to its predecessors since 1949. The author finds that this grand strategy demands from China to take the initiative to mold rather than await a peaceful and favorable international environment. He concludes that compared to the grand strategies in the past, the new one shows more change than continuity.
