Origins and Consequences of the Soviet-Chinese Border Conflict of 1969
This paper analyzes the border conflict between the Soviet Union and China in 1969. The paper gives an overview of the political developments from the end of the 1950s to the beginning of the 1960s and explores the reasons behind this conflict. The author also assesses the military, cultural and economic consequences of the Soviet-Chinese border conflict on their bilateral relations.
