Aligning NPOA with Other Frameworks for National Development
A Formula to Revitalise Forwardlooking, Broad-based and Participatory Development in Africa?
This policy brief talks about ways in which momentum can be returned to the African-led mechanism for monitoring governance reforms and solving problems on the continent, the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM). The author argues that one factor behind this loss of moment is the neglect of National Programmes of Action, despite their immense potential to support dialogue between the state and society on key development challenges and other issues.
