Don't Try This at Home: Lessons from America's War on Drugs
This transcript records a lecture delivered by director Eugene Jarecki in which he discusses his film "The House I Live In". Interspersed with key scenes from his film, the speaker discusses the domestic and social consequences of US drug policies, and the connections between drug laws, the criminal justice system, class and racial minorities in the US. He presents the American case as a caveat to the UK and Europe in their own approaches toward drug policy.
