The Future of Global Poverty in a Multi-Speed World
New Estimates of Scale and Location, 2010–2030
This paper introduces a new model to project the scale and location of future global poverty. It also explores how estimates of future poverty vary by approach. The authors conclude that a reduction of poverty by 2030 is possible, but that it depends on economic growth and inequality trends.
