The Law on the Elimination of Violence Against Women
This booklet explains the content of the Elimination of Violence against Women Law enacted in Afghanistan in 2009. It elaborates on what constitutes crimes of violence against women and on the punishments for these crimes. The booklet also explains the rights of women who are victims of violence and where they can complain.
