Hassan Rowhani's Election as President of Iran: Initial Assessments
This policy brief considers what Hassan Rowhani’s recent election as the President of Iran (June 2013) might mean for the country's foreign policy. In particular, a thawing of diplomatic relations between Tehran and the West could weaken international resolve to curb Iran's nuclear ambitions.
