Conflict and Development: Framework for a Proposed Research Area
This paper describes that supporting economic and social development, promoting good governance and reducing poverty worldwide are longstanding priorities in Norway’s foreign policy. The authors address the mutual relationship between development and conflict. They also suggest future avenues of policy-relevant research. According to the authors, such efforts can potentially contribute to increase the effectiveness of Norwegian support for development as well as peacebuilding.
