Transition in Southern Africa – Comparative Aspects
Two Lectures
This chapter uses two papers to compare the transitions to democracy in Namibia and South Africa. The first compares the formal transitions to democracy in the two countries, discussing the transitions in relation to process and outcome 'from Apartheid to Democracy.' The second paper discusses the role of liberation and democracy in Namibia.
