Long Walk to Restoration: Lessons from Somalia’s Transition Process
This report discusses the lessons learned from the transition process in Somalia in 2012 and the reasons behind its success. The ending of the transition process against the backdrop of numerous challenges and failures of previous transitional endeavors, shows the possibility of sustaining and replicating the achievements in many other challenging African cases of instability.
