World View: The 1995 Strategic Assessment from the Strategic Studies Institute
This book presents the views of eight Strategic Studies Institute (SSI) analysts on the major trends that will influence US national and military interests in the decade succeeding 1995. The analysts explore the post-Cold War transition of the global order, Russian influence in Eurasia, security in Europe and US democracy and development promotion in Latin America. They also look at stability in the Middle East, democracy, development and security in Africa, and security and US economic engagement in the Asia-Pacific region.
