Chronic Kleptocracy: Corruption Within the Palestinian Political Establishment
This testimony discusses the existence of widespread corruption in the Palestinian Authority (PA). The author charges that Western donors including the United States have not focused sufficiently on exposing and addressing the issue. In this testimony before the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Subcommittee on Middle East and South Asia, he calls for the further integration and promotion of anti-corruption efforts and evaluations into aid programs.
