The Irish Troubles Since 1916
This case study offers background information on the events and ideological movements behind the Irish Easter Rebellion of 1916, and delivers a further chronology of Irish separatism and Irish-English conflict in the 20th century. The study pays particular attention to the use and justification of political violence in the Irish independence movement.
