Observer Research Foundation (ORF)
The Observer Research Foundation (ORF) is a think tank active in influencing public policy formulation. It was started in the early 1990s during the period of India’s transition from a protected economy to one engaging with the international economic order. At that time, a need was felt for a forum to examine the problems facing the country and develop policy responses.
