Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) is an independent, international news and broadcast organization whose programs - radio, internet and television - report the news in countries where a free press is banned by the government or not fully established. Its mission is to provide what many people cannot get locally: uncensored news, responsible discussion, and open debate. RFE/RL broadcast to 21 countries in 28 languages, including Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Russia.
