EastWest Institute (EWI)
The EastWest Institute is an independent, worldwide think and do policy organization forging collective action for a better and safer world. A not-for-profit organization established in 1980, it is a catalyst for trust-building and positive change. It works to mobilize and connect the intellectual, human and resource capacities needed to foster peace and improve human well-being, in addition to bridging government, business and civil society for effective collective action. The EWI is a forceful voice within and between East and West while serving as a discreet worldwide hub for Track II and semi-official Track 1.5 diplomacy.
