Revitalizing the OSCE - A Mission Impossible?
In this audio presentation from the 2013 International Security Forum, a panel of six experts contemplates some of the ways that the OSCE might contribute to the creation of a comprehensive Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian security community. This aspiration remains a 'political minefield', as they readily acknowledge and explain. (Note: The speakers include Nikola Poposki, who is Minister of Foreign Affairs from the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia; Wolfgang Zellner from the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy and Head of the Centre for OSCE Research; Michael Haltzel from the Center for Transatlantic Relations, John Hopkins University; Andrei Zagorski from the Institute of World Economy and International Relations, and Walter Kemp from the International Peace Institute. Finally, the discussant is Adam Kobieracki, who is the Director of the Conflict Prevention Centre and Deputy Head of the OSCE Secretariat, Vienna.)
