Facing a World of Transitions

Note: The following panel discussion starts at 34:32. It is preceded by short welcome speeches by Ambassador Fred Tanner (GCSP) and Lt Gen (Ret) Keith W Dayton (PfPC), and then by a comprehensive opening address on "Facing a World of Transitions," the 2013 International Security Forum Conference's theme, by the Swiss Foreign Minister and Federal Councilor, Didier Burkhalter.

In this audio presentation, the four panelists build upon Minister Burkhalter's 'take' on the multiple (and unprecedented) transitions we face in today's international security environment, including those that manage to stay off the global inter-state agenda. (Note: The speakers include Anatoly Antonov, who is the Russian Federation's Deputy Minister of Defence; Christine Beerli, who is Vice-President of the International Committee of the Red Cross; Lamberto Zannier, who is Secretary General of the OSCE, and Cui Liru, who is President of the China Institute of Contemporary International Relations.)
