International Humanitarian Law: Challenges of Categorization
In this audio presentation, three experts discuss the difficulties of categorizing today's hybrid forms of violence within international law. They then explore the legal and humanitarian consequences of these problems, to include obscuring the border where international humanitarian law begins and national law enforcement ends. (Note: The speakers include Jelena Pejic from the International Committee of the Red Cross; Charles Garraway from Chatham House; and Noam Lubell from the National University of Ireland.)
