The Role of Agency in Constructivism
In this audio presentation, the Blavatnik School of Government's Kathryn Sikkink talks about how constructivism helps explain the dynamics of international politics and how international relations (IR) theory in general isn't that effective in describing the role of change and agency in transnational relations. (Note: Sikkink gave her talk at a workshop on the contributions of constructivism to IR analysis and what future constructivist research agendas might look like.)
