East Asia's Future
Since the end of the Cold War, Asia's $19 trillion regional economy has become a critical engine of global growth. But the specter of rising nationalism now threatens to undo these hard-won gains. This Atlantic Council panel discussion focuses on the impact this trend is having on Northeast Asia and how it might thwart attempts to integrate the region, and therefore undermines the very idea of a greater Asia-Pacific community.
