Afghanistan's Post-NATO Future
In this audio presentation, Haynie Wheeler features the article "Afghanistan's Post-NATO Future" by Harsh Pant. The article not only discusses the Alliance's withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2014, it also highlights some of the responsibilities that regional powers such as Pakistan and India will have to assume in order to 'manage' a post-American neighborhood. In the particular case of India, Mr. Pant believes it should take a leadership role in facilitating peace in Afghanistan, primarily by improving its economic and security status.
