In this audio presentation, Joshua Kurlantzick, who is CFR's Fellow for Southeast Asia, leads a conversation on the conflict between Thailand's Muslim insurgents and its largely Buddhist security forces. Kurlantzick further explains that the insurgency predominates in the regions bordering with Malaysia, thus suggesting that there may be a separatist component to it as well.
