The violence engulfing Syria has raised concerns about the Assad regime’s chemical weapons falling into the wrong hands. In today’s podcast, the ISN’s Peter Faber talks to the Center for Security Studies’ Oliver Thränert about the challenges posed by chemical weapons, as well as efforts to counter their proliferation. Oliver Thränert is Head of Think Tank at the CSS and an expert on international arms control, disarmament and WMD nonproliferation.
