Regional Conflicts: Managed But Not Resolved

In today's podcast, the Pacific Forum's Ralph A Cossa predicts that territorial disputes and disagreement over how best to deal with North Korea makes security cooperation in Northeast Asia unlikely. However, Cossa does not expect China, Japan and South Korea to fight over energy resources and believes that in the long run economic cooperation will spill over into the political realm.
