Dr Marc Sageman, a Senior Fellow of the Center on Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, discusses the phenomenon of the global neo-jihadi movement and two-step process by which young people are likely to become radicalized. He further considers the impacts of both the death of Osama bin Laden and the Arab Spring on radicalized young people.
